Theme 01The Ecclesial Minimum
Worship, community, and mission are the ecclesial minimum. Church can include more than these three, and it cannot include less.
Formation · Where reading becomes practice
11 formations, one for each theme — each built to move an idea from your head into the rhythms of your week. Walk any of them your way: a self-paced Pathway, or a facilitated Cohort with a guide and a group.
A self-paced journey you take on your own schedule — read, practice, and reflect at the pace your life allows.
The same path, walked with a trained facilitator and a small group on a shared weekly rhythm.
Same path, same practices — you choose whether to walk it alone or with others. Enrollment opens soon.
The formations
Theme 01Worship, community, and mission are the ecclesial minimum. Church can include more than these three, and it cannot include less.
Theme 02The centralized church is an incubator for sending missionaries. Its work is to serve the people who serve others, and in that service to multiply the mission.
Theme 03Every believer is called. Calling changes about six times over a life and still lasts, through six days and a seventh of reward, rest, and reign.
Theme 04Leavers leave for reasons worth hearing. Empowered staying and revolutionary leaving are both faithful paths toward a church God would recognize.
Theme 05The Underground's commitment, after Jesus, is to remember the poor because God does. The poor are central to the mission.
Theme 06Holiness, in Different, is positive difference: the character of God, imitated in a real place, close enough to love the world.
Theme 07Later work asks what leadership looks like when the people in the room do not work for each other. The five keys are not in this corpus.
Theme 08A formation journey from definitional clarity through incarnational practice to network sending. Archived 2026-09-25 when the seven-theme set replaced these stubs.
Theme 09A lighter introduction to vocational seasons — full pathway coming soon. Archived 2026-09-25 when the seven-theme set replaced these stubs.
Theme 10The rhythm
Short readings and real cases open each week — the theology and the story behind the shift.
Embodied practices and prompts move it off the page and into your actual week and neighborhood.
Alone in a journal or together in a cohort — name what you saw God doing, then take the next small step.
Walking with a guide
The content is identical to the self-paced Pathway. What a cohort adds is people: a trained facilitator, a small group walking the same weeks, and the accountability of showing up together.

Before you begin · FAQ
The content is exactly the same. A Pathway is self-paced — you move through the readings and practices on your own schedule. A Cohort walks that same material with a trained facilitator and a small group on a shared weekly rhythm.
Start where the question is real
Start with the theme that names the question you are already carrying. Each formation walks that thread from idea into practice.
